Yesterday I was thankful for my stamina. After my usual 12-hour Thursday workday, I spent another 3 hours working on making candy and taking care of my critters. Christmas is nearly here and the fairies ain’t gonna make those chocolates for me. I have another long day planned today, if I can keep it up. I’m not trying to either brag or complain (since I know someone who works longer and harder than I do). I’m trying to think of this as training for my next career—plenty of entrepreneurs work 60 or 70 hour weeks…….don’t they?

This Christmas, I’m absolutely planning to sit on my ass and indulge in both. You just wait—there’s going to be a blog post about how I’m thankful for decent champagne and Triple Orange truffles. The thought of it is keeping me moving forward today.
