Three Good Things 1.19.15



Back to work.  Mondays are a lot less fun now that my cool boss has taken his coolness elsewhere.  Still, it shouldn’t be too tough to come up with three things for yesterday.
  1. The weather continues to be more comfortable.  It has continued the warming trend that started this weekend, which makes me happy.  Yay for lighter coats and no boots!
  2. Made it to quittin’ time without getting myself into trouble.  Yay for quittin’ time!
  3. Did yoga right away when we got home.  That’s the 3rd week in a row—pretty soon it’ll be an actual habit.  Yay for good habits!

I’m starting to get comfortable with yoga again.  I was supposed to start it during my marathon training last spring, but didn’t quite manage it.  I’ve talked someone into doing it with me instead of using him as an excuse to avoid it.  You often see the suggestion to find a workout buddy to keep yourself on track, since you’re less likely to skip a session if you know someone is waiting for you.  That’s rarely been a problem for me, BUT… I am easily distracted.  Getting my distraction to do yoga with me was a good idea—no shirking now since he’s pretty tenacious (and I think he’s rather enjoying the sessions).


Or maybe he just enjoys the yoga pants.
